NCC Report-2024-25

Introduction:

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) has introduced in our school in May 2016 under 1 mah sig coy ncc unit. Firstly we had 50 vacancies which extended till 100 in March 2021 for boys and girls. NCC played a significant role in our school’s extracurricular activities, fostering discipline, leadership, and teamwork among its members. Notably, NCC’s influence extends beyond the parade ground, as it has consistently delivered exceptional band performances that have left a lasting impression on our school community.

NCC’s Participation and Growth:

Over the years, the NCC program in our school has seen steady growth in enrollment. This is largely due to its positive impact on students, with many eager to join and be part of this dynamic organization. NCC has offered students a unique opportunity to develop life skills, such as self-discipline, responsibility, and a sense of duty.

The Role of the Band:

One of the standout features of NCC in our school has been its outstanding band performances. The NCC band has become an integral part of various school events, showcasing its musical prowess and dedication to excellence. These performances have not only entertained our school community but have also garnered recognition in the hearts of students and worthy teachers. NCC’s band has consistently demonstrated excellence in its performances. Whether it’s playing at school functions, local events, or competitions, the band’s precision, synchronization, and musical talent have never failed to impress. Their performances have added a touch of grandeur to our school’s celebrations and events.

ACTIVITIES & ACHIVEMENTS

  1. Yoga day celebrated on 21st june 2024
  2. Enrolment of new cadets -2/07/ 2024 by NCC unit.
  3. Tiranga yatra rally in Sappers vihar TB-2, dt 15/8/2024.
  4. Punit sagar Abhiyan- cleanliness of Guranam lake, dt 28/09/2024.
  5. Our 35 Cadets completed CATC-710 dt 29th May 2024
  6. Sgt Aniruddha got Best cadet Award during the Camp.
  7. Our Cadets participated in Cultural program during Camp.
  8. Girls Cadet Got first prise in Tag of War.
  9. Sgt Sivanjali got promoted as SGT during CATC Camp.
  10. Sgt Shivanjal and Cpl Ishita jadhav are selected for IGC Camp which will be conducted from 26th Oct’24. They are representing Pune GP HQ  In Pre RDC Camp.
  11. SGT Shivanjali has participated in RDC 2025. She represented Maharashtra in cultural event.

A cert exam conducted on 1st & 2nd Feb 2025 by unit.
